Menstrual Pain

Menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea) are suffered by many women. Period pain can range from a mild discomfort to a severe pain that interferes with a woman's ability to carry on with her normal day-to-day activities.

Menstrual cramps are a major cause of
absenteeism in women under 30. In addition to menstrual cramps, women may also suffer from lower back and leg pain, nausea, headaches and irritability.

I just assumed that the time of the month was something I had no choice but to live with. I'd plough through work somehow, then get home, down some paracetemol, and flop on the sofa. ACUMED™ has made it possible for me to carry on as normal when I have my period, rather than wishing I could wipe out three or four days per month.
